CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR YOUNG ADULTS!

To Meg who passed her BHS Stage 1 Riding with distinction and Catherine who passed her BHS Stage 1 Care with distinction. Well done girls you are a credit to our yard.
SUMMER IS ON IT'S WAY!

It is hard to believe that with all the flooding that we have now that summer is just around the corner but our plans are well underway.  Please see the list below for some of our events. Many more will be added as we go along.

DOWNE HALL STABLES CAMPS 2014
Young persons camp

Mon 4TH, Tues 5TH AND Wed 6TH AUGUST

Back by popular demand – we will be running another camp in the summer. This camp is only open to committed volunteers and young liveries only. Due to the high demand on places we will only be able to accommodate volunteers who have made a regular and hardworking contribution to the running of the yard.

Wherever possible you will be given your first choice of horse or pony and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all staff and liveries who allow their horses to be ridden during camp.

For those of you who have not attended camp before the cost includes all instruction, food and trips out. Horses are provided free of charge and our camp includes at least five hours of ridden lessons and hacks, and three hours of stable management. Therefore the cost is same whether you own your own pony or not.

A deposit of £30 non-returnable deposit is required by the 31st January to secure your place and the total cost will remain at £150 for 2014.

If parents would like to discuss camp please do not hesitate to talk to Knelly or Wendy.
